Miracle in a bottle
I’ll start off with my negative experience. I ordered a gift set since it was the same price as the hair oil. I knew I liked the lotion bc I was giving some the last time I ordered Moroccanoil through the company. My 1st order arrived and the top had twisted off some and lotion was spilled down the bottle. I figured okay I’ll order it again.*The photos are what I got when I opened the 2nd time.*I received a notification that they put my order in the mailbox. I knew something was wrong bc the box won’t fit in my mailbox. I called my neighbor and asked him to get the package. He called me back and said it was laying in the street! He was surprised someone didn’t run it over. It also was in an envelope, this time instead of a box like the first order. When I opened the envelope the box was in crappy condition. The guard that goes around the top of the pump was laying in the box. The top had unscrewed and lotion spilled down the side and into the box, it was a lot of product.Considering this is a gift set if I sent this as a gift and it came in this condition I would be extremely disappointed. I think the brand could design the packing for the lotion better. The oil comes with a cap andthe pump is separate. Since I had two packages to compare, Amazon was definitely responsible for the unacceptable way this one arrived.Now for the positive.This stuff works miracles. My hair is dyed so it’s dry and damaged. This stuff helps hydrate my hair and makes it shiny. I have tried a lot of hair oil at different price points. The only one that compares to this is the Olaplex #7 bond oil. Unfortunately I can’t use this product bc my hair is too thick. I need a heavier oil. This is where this product comes in. It’s not so heavy that it weighs down my hair. It leaves it feeling silky and smooth. If you have thinner hair I recommend the Moroccan oil lite, which is also available in the gift set The only thing I hate about this product is the price tag. A bottle lasts awhile and it’s definitely worth the investment.My advice would be order the gift set since it’s the same price. Don’t send it as a gift bc unless they change the packing your going to have lotion spilled in the box.

For the last few years, I have used Olaplex oil for my hair until my hairdresser gifted me a bottle of this. I wasn’t very sure how it would work on my hair because it’s much heavier than Olaplex, but I decided to give it a try. I have thick, wavy hair that has some area damage from styling tools and processing. I started with just a small amount on the ends. First thing I noticed was the amazing smell! My hair absorbed the oil easily, And even though the oil was thicker than the oil Olaplex, it did not weigh my hair down. This leaves my hair smooth and soft and smelling great. The combo with the hair oil and body lotion is a great value! You get two products for the price of one. I love the lotion too. It leaves my skin, soft and smelling great, but the scent is not overbearing. I still use Olaplex product for other hair related issues, but for me, this hair oil is the best I’ve ever used!

Don’t you hate product reviews that compliment or slam the delivery or the packaging and don’t review the product? Well this won’t be one of those, although my review begins with the scent. I know I didn’t buy it just because of that but it’s one of those scents that, when your hair dresser puts it in your hair, you immediately want to know what it is and take some home. It’s a very light fragrance and it’s fabulous. Next, the product itself; my hair has been treated for decades. But with this product my hair is soft and keeps its style all day. Just one small pump and rub it through avoiding the roots. I have short hair. Buy it!
