I’ve been using this product for just under a month. Initially, I bought it for myself, but after sharing its potential benefits, my husband decided to try it too. My main reason for purchasing it was the glowing reviews about collagen’s ability to alleviate joint pain. Blends well in cold coffee + update
UPDATE: Still blends well in cold coffee – the key is to add it gradually and sort of shake it across the surface of the coffee, let it saturate, and then stir. It takes a little patience, but it’s worth it. As for results, I do think my skin is looking brighter and more youthful, but the difference I am certain of is in muscle strength and recovery. I’ve dramatically increase my working out – starting from being pretty out of shape – and haven’t had one muscle spasm or tear (which I’m normally prone to). I’m never sore after workouts at all, and even my usual aches and pains from old injuries are diminished. PLUS, I am pretty sure my bladder muscle strength has been improved, because I was seeking out AZO before and I haven’t had to rush to the bathroom in months. So that’s a huge benefit in my book, even though it’s not normally promoted with this sort of product.I also think my nails are growing faster, but sadly aren’t noticeably stronger. So the looks benefits (skin & nails & hair) are there, I think, but not miraculous, but the difference in muscle strength & resilience, which I wasn’t even necessarily seeking out, seems to be dramatic and has actually made a big difference in my health (because of the ability to work out more) and quality of life.I’ve only been using this for three days, so I can’t comment on results yet. But it has blended beautifully in my morning coffee, which I drink cold. When I was reading reviews to decide which collagen powder to get, whether or not the powder would blend in cold liquid was something I was really looking to find out, and almost every product (including this one) had reviews that said “blends well in cold liquids” and also reviews that said “does NOT blend in cold liquid.” I figured there are probably other people for whom blending power in cold liquid was a deciding factor in picking a collagen powder, so since there were varying reports, I wanted to hop on here and say in my experience, this product blends perfectly in cold coffee, with no clumps, residue, or aftertaste.

Great Collagen Product
I have been using Great Lakes Wellness Collagen Peptides Powder now for several months. I am a woman 65+ and my skin and nails have become very thin. This product has made a noticeable difference in my skin and nails. It mixes well with my coffee in the morning and has no taste that I can detect. I use a frothier to mix the powder and have no lumps. It doesn’t work as well in cold liquids. I would recommend it to someone with thinning nails and skin. The cost and quality seem to be pretty good as well.
