good for fine hair
I have really thin and fine hair, and a lot of it but it always seems like it’s flat and messy. I think this product is great and is giving me a different way to style my hair. I have applied to wet hair and allowed it to air dry which is fine, but still needs some blow drying. I have also applied it wet and blow dried my hair upside down and then brushed it straight. The root volume was incredible and my hair felt amazing. I like that it didn’t leave my hair feeling sticky or weighed down like other products can. I think it could vary for everyone depending on your hair texture but I’m happy with it so far and will continue to experiment.

Great hair volumnizer!
The best hair volumizer I have found for thin fine hair. I have gone through so many that promised to work but never worked well in my hair. Most weight loss it down too much but this is super light and works well. You seemingly use a lot to make a difference but yet the container lasts me for 2 to 3 months! As videos have shown I slather it on my wet or damp hair, but when I dry my hair it is still light feeling, just more volume. One of the few hair products that does what it says!

Adds Volume – Less Effective on Thick Hair
I really like this product and use it frequently, but keep in mind, the results are far less dramatic with thick hair than thin hair.I have long, thick hair, and while this product does add volume, the results are noticable, but not extreme like in the videos for the product. I think my hair is just a little too heavy to let the product work quite as well as it does on lighter, finer hair.I wash my hair, then let it partially air dry. When my hair is wet, but not dripping, I add it to my roots/scalp and blow dry my hair upside down, focusing on the roots. I use heat to dry the roots, then use the cool setting on my blow dryer to “set” the hair. I also use the WOW hairspray and together they give me a good “blow out” look when I style my hair.

Didn’t work best for my scalp and hair
For context, my hair is straight and thin. According to the directions, you can use this on dry or wet hair. You also need to section off your hair and work it through the sections, so be prepared to use a good amount of product to see results. On wet hair, it added good volume on day 1. On days 2 and 3, the volume went down and my hair got greasy faster than it does without the product and I quickly developed dandruff. So if your scalp is prone to grease and/or dandruff, I don’t recommend it. On dry hair, it looks like you put gel in your roots and takes a while to set, so if you’re looking for a last minute volumizer on dry hair, I don’t recommend it.I do recommend it if your scalp is not sensitive and you’re looking to add slight volume by working this product into your post-wash hair care routine.

80 YEAR OLD LOVES THIS PRODUCT FOR BABY FINE HAIR!!
As I’ve got older, my healthy silver hair is getting thinner and is super baby fine. I’ve tried several hair volumizing and thickening products some of which worked pretty good but nothing fantastic and often the manufacturer would for one reason or another discontinue the product leaving me to search again. I read all the reviews on Color Wow thickening lift spray and decided to order the small 1.7 once container.I wash and blow dry my hair about every three days and it would always seem flat and bodyless unless I used the curling iron especially at the crown as I have an awful cowlick. I wanted to find a product that would allow me to just ‘wash, blow and go’. This WOW foam turned out to be the best I’ve ever found!I’ll start by telling you that my hair is naturally silver in color and in healthy condition. I keep it cut in a short ‘pixie’ style and get a trim every five weeks. I wash my hair with a good shampoo but do not use conditioner. Next I towel dry and then after shacking the bottle, I put two sprays of the foam in my hand, rubbing hands together and applying the product directly on my hair. I then blow dry my hair mostly upside down and also use a small round brush for styling. Once dry I do a very light ‘backcombing’ NOT HEAVY TEASING and then using a wire pick to lift and style the hair before using a holding spray. The style lasts all day and the next day all I do after combing is a little backcombing and spraying and voila, I’m ready for another day! I hope this helps you older gals with short fine thin hair. This is a great product and I just hope the manufacturer doesn’t discontinue it.

Great product for all hair types
Go buy this now! This is the best styling mousse I have used. It gives a great texture and adds volume to my fine hair. It feels nice and doesn’t weigh down my hair. It also makes for much easier to deal with 2nd day hair as well. All of the Color Wow products I have used work well and have shown me great results.

Does What It Says
I have 3b curls and was looking for a product that would give me more lift. It did just that with no problem! I got the mini size to test it out and tried it with blowout, straight, and natural curly styles. Here’s what I’ve found:-It did NOT leave my hair stiff or sticky-just adds volume ONLY so it needs a supplement like a blowout cream/finishing oil for heated styles and a curl cream for natural styles (it does not define curls)-worked well styled with my blow dryer, straightener and even just air drying-no scentoverall, great!-no silicones on the ingredient list that I can see

Good enough but not the WOW factor
This Wow product gives some body. However, its not the WOW factor. I have straight hair and its light weight and looks as good as any volumizing product. Not the WOW though.

Descubrí este producto en YouTube y decidí probarlo. Tengo el pelo claro y muy fino como el de un bebé, la pesadilla de los peluqueros. Pues este producto es una maravilla, lo aplico cuando mi pelo está casi seco, solamente en las raíces y luego con el peine lo reparto hasta las puntas. A continuación lo moldeo con el secador y un cepillo redondo y mi peinado aguanta todo el día, estoy encantada.
